What are plan credits?

Plan credits are the monthly allowance included with your subscription. They power BlazeGen's AI features: avatar video generation, voice synthesis, image generation, background removal, and more. Each tier (Starter, Creator, Pro) comes with a different monthly amount.

Do unused credits roll over to the next billing cycle?

Accepted Answer

No. Unused plan credits expire at the end of each billing cycle when fresh credits are granted. If you regularly have leftovers, consider a smaller plan; if you regularly run out, top-up packs let you add more without changing your plan.

What if I need more credits?

Accepted Answer

You have two options. Buy a top-up credit pack, a one-time purchase that adds credits immediately and never expires. Or upgrade your plan, which gives you a larger monthly allowance plus prorated bonus credits for the rest of your current billing period.

What are top-up credits?

Accepted Answer

Top-up credits are one-time credit packs you purchase separately from your monthly plan. They never expire and stay in your account until used. Top-up packs are refundable within 7 days only if you haven't used any of their credits, so review the pack size before checkout.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Upgrades (including switching from monthly to yearly billing) take effect immediately with prorated charges and bonus credits. Downgrades and yearly-to-monthly switches take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. You keep access to your current plan through the end of the period you've paid for.

How does billing work?

Plans are billed monthly or yearly through Stripe, our payment processor. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel, and you can manage your billing or update your payment method anytime from the Stripe-hosted customer portal in your account settings. Yearly plans are billed once upfront for the full year.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can cancel at any time from your account settings. You keep access to your plan features and credits through the end of the current billing period. Annual plans are not prorated on cancellation. Plan credits expire at the end of that period; top-up credits remain on your account. Your projects, avatars, and exported videos remain accessible after cancellation.

Can I get a refund?

Not for you? Subscriptions get a full refund within 7 days of purchase if you've used under ~150 credits. Top-up credit packs are refundable within 7 days if you haven't used any of their credits, and non-refundable after that. Failed jobs are automatically restored as credits at no cost. Duplicate, unauthorized, or legally-required cases are always refundable. Email support@blazegen.ai with your order number to request a refund.
